Free online computer classes increase tech skills & confidence

Your patrons need computer skills but you don’t have time to teach them. You and your staff need to improve your computer skills but don’t know where to turn. And you have no budget. If this sounds familiar, let free online courses help you.

You may already have a link to the SD State Library on your web page. The State Library provides Learning Express Library, which now offers a Computer Skills module with video tutorials on topics from basics to Microsoft and Adobe software. Go to library.sd.gov: Online Resources, click Learning Express Library, create an account, and start learning.

You can link to these free online computer classes, too:

A mashup of all of these can be found at this St. Paul Public Library site, Northstar Learning Guide.

Empower your patrons and yourselves with these free tech learning tools.
