Prairie Bud winners are determined by South Dakota PreK, kindergarten, and first grade students. Prairie Bloom winners are determined by South Dakota second and third grade students. Prairie Pasque winners are determined by South Dakota fourth and fifth grade students.
The Prairie Awards voting deadline was extended a month this year by the SDLA committee due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Librarians and teachers helped assist children in casting their votes and over 1500 votes were submitted during the month of April!
